On Friday, Vietjet announced that Forbes Vietnam had included it in its Top 50 ESG Leading Companies 2026, honouring its environmental, social and corporate governance work.
Vietjet stated that the list resulted from a multi-stage assessment, which featured an independent technical evaluation by SGS Vietnam.
The airline reported that its emissions reduction work covers fleet modernisation, better fuel efficiency and technology to optimise operations.
Since 2024, Vietjet has operated flights using sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) refuelled in Việt Nam.
Vietjet vice chairwoman, vice president and chief financial officer Hồ Ngọc Yến Phương described ESG as the basis for long-term growth, and said the airline targets net-zero emissions by 2050.
