DHL Supply Chain is moving ahead with a new logistics center in Jena-Apolda, Germany.

The facility will offer almost 27,000 square meters of warehouse space, with completion planned for March 2027.

The Jena-Apolda logistics center will serve businesses in sectors such as semiconductors, high-tech manufacturing, healthcare and battery technologies.

DHL Supply Chain anticipates the facility to generate 50 to 70 jobs when operations start in spring 2027.

The building is being developed according to the Gold certification criteria of the German Sustainable Building Council (DGNB).
