A memorandum of understanding was inked in Hà Nội on October 9 between the Agency for Domestic Market Surveillance and Development, part of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, and P&G, extending a partnership begun in 2023.
Across the first nine months of 2026, market surveillance bodies looked into and closed 19,646 cases linked to counterfeit goods and IP infringements, drawing almost VNĐ250 billion into the state budget.
Over the same nine-month window, authorities took action on 635 e-commerce violation cases, yielding close to VNĐ11.4 billion in state revenue.
The new framework has both parties sharing more data on protected trademarks, product identification features, and businesses, warehouses, accounts and online shops believed to be violating rules.
