M/V HAIAN BETA made its first call at Chennai Port on 3 October 2026, marking the start of Hai An's direct CVI service linking Vietnam and India.
The CVI service runs monthly on a set rotation.
That rotation covers Nansha, Hai Phong, Port Klang West and Chennai.
Trade between the two countries came to US$13.4 billion in the first eight months of 2026, up 25% year on year.
The HAIAN BETA call at Chennai is another step in Hai An's move into international container shipping.
