CEVA Almajdouie Logistics and Port of NEOM are collaborating to improve multimodal freight links between the Red Sea and inland Middle East markets.

The partnership seeks to boost cargo flows among Europe, Egypt, the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries and Iraq, blending maritime access with road transport, warehousing and customs services.

The two sides target cargo types such as containerized freight, RoPax traffic, bulk and general cargo, plus heavy-lift and project shipments.

No new scheduled freight services, extra transport capacity or implementation timetable for the proposed multimodal connections were specified in the announcement.
